Oh, mes chéries. Per usual, last week, I tried to do.too.much. (Am I, perhaps, a ‘woman who loves too much’? The world at large seems to appreciate me this way, so why change?) As 1980’s psychology will give you as much salvation as 1980s fashion, then maybe…maybe…maybe.

I launched mind and body and current love interest towards manymanymany of the things beknighted with worthiness in last week’s dispatch, but ~FIRST~ I finally, after 4 years, got my mouldering, missing fashion staples and other painful life effluvia from French Ex-Boyfriend’s basement (in France we call it a ‘cave’— it’s much more glamorous that way but moldier.)

I spent the week bleaching camembert starter out of my pillowcases between Eiffel Tower tours. So many fleurie boxes to unpack at the same time as “big culture-weekend” hits. Hearts may mend but try getting your old favorite coat to not smell like forest floor…Big sad.
